Buying a surfboard fundamentally requires making the decision “new” or “used?”  

 

Buying a used board, one that you intend on surfing, requires making all the same decisions as when buying a new board, with a few extra things to watch out.  It’s easy to buy a used board then find it’s not rideable without some serious work.
